I'm a photographer temporarily living in Las Vegas; I was originally living and based in New York City, and plan to return there soon.
While in Las Vegas, I'd like to expand my portfolio and build a new image for myself - figure out what kind of photographer I want to be. I'm interested in taking full advantage of the Western landscape and creating something beautiful inside it. Or just capturing it being there. Or simply just watching it happen and living that moment.
I'd like to keep it simple. My model and I can go shopping together for things we may need - I will take care of the expense in terms of wardrobe and props. Uncomplicated. Something of a fashion / editorial / street / candid / documentary feel. How's that sound?
Some background on me: I completed 4 years of advertising photography at RIT - a university recognized for its excellence in photography. I have assisted and digital tech'd for 4 years solid for some of the best, most talented photographers in the world - not just New York City. I have been on shoots for big editorial and advertising clients with too many celebrities to go back and recount.
My blog is here should you be interested in reading about me while I'm working on building a real website: mgindi.tumblr.com
