My name is Walter McClay, and I am the owner and photographer of McClay Photography. I, and my Makeup Artist, Fashion Stylist Coordinator & Creative Director - Denise Lopez, (with whom I work Exclusively with), specialize in Commercial Print, Lifestyle, Beauty, and some forms of Fashion photography. We also shoot tasteful Glamour and nudes that is natural, simplistic and understated... pure beauty. Our five years in Chicago were spent shooting for all the top agencies: Stewart Talent, JMI, Ford, BMG, to name a few. We are now currently based back in the St. Louis area (our hometown).

We help models develop/update/expand their portfolios, with images that are marketable. We are a seasoned professional photography team that clearly understands the industry and what is needed to market talent. We have worked with hundreds of people that have never modeled before that were new to the industry and have educated them in modeling (such as posing, facial expression, etc.) and in the industry (such as how not to get ripped off by scams, how to develop your portfolio, what type of images are usable and what are not, comp cards, etc.). It is our professional experience in the industry that gives us the knowledge of what works, as well as what agencies and clients are looking for.  A great majority of the people that are seen on our website have never modeled before and we have made them appear as if they are experienced and seasoned pros, as well as, helped launched many models careers in the industry successfully.

We do not limit ourselves or the model to a certain number of photos taken per look so the model does not feel rushed which helps ensure quality images. We are easy to work with and take the time during the photo shoot to work with and instruct the model, if necessary.

We strive for excellence with each look. We want our work to meet the expectations of the critics in the industry, such as high-end clients, photo editors, etc..

We do not pay models unless it is for a paid commercial assignment. We don't do TFP but we do offer affordable pricing.
