Confirmed Travel Plans:
L.A.: February 17th-19th
I have a free one-way ticket to Hawaii and will trade for the return ticket
------------------------
You probably think I'm joking by now, but I'm hanging up the "traveling model" thing in June 2012, when I'm graduating with my M.A. I will most likely continue to model in the Portland area through the summer, and I will be completely retired from modeling by September 2012.
---------------------------
ABOUT ME
*I primarily shoot nudes, but I also enjoy shooting commercial and fashion
*I can pull off about 10 different ethnicities (Native American, Thai, Turkish, Malaysian, Filipina, Hawaiian/Polynesian, Latina, you name it....)
*No tattoos
*I'm more concerned with having a fun and productive shoot than what "level" you are at as a photographer. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're new to this-- I've had many great shoots with people who've never shot nudes. Really. Like more than 10 people. I'm more into positive attitudes and energy than level of expertise. (I don't know how to emphasize this enough-- I'm never "too good" to shoot with ANYBODY!)
*If you're traveling to the Portland area, I can find someone to hook you up with a studio, and I also know of MANY outdoor locations (a few of which are featured in my portfolio)
*I've been modeling for about 4 years, 3 full time
*I don't like being in cold water unless it's hot outside. But I've forded rivers, crawled through (and gotten) poison oak, stood in 40 degree weather, gotten sunburned, been stung by fire ants and bees, hiked 10 miles, been eaten ALIVE by mosquitoes, and even had a leech. All in the name of art. I'm not a diva.
RATES
*Just because I'm busy doesn't mean I think I'm better than anyone else.... but
I don't have time for TF* right now. I am in school!! I know your time and money are valuable; my time is valuable, too.
*I'm reasonable and willing to negotiate and work with your budget. I do NOT want you to go broke in order to work with me.
*If the location is an hour or more away, I appreciate some (just a lil) compensation for driving time. AKA, pleeeease don't book me for a 2-hour shoot, drive me around for 5 hours, and then pay me for 2 hours of work. (This seems to happen to me frequently! When traveling, I need to know pretty specifically how much TOTAL time I need to allot for a shoot!)
*I will always be willing to trade a shoot for free scuba diving in your area. PADI certified.
*I'm in school. Therefore I'm always broke.
I love to travel. I have 5+ references who have provided plane tickets who will vouch for me; ie, you provide a plane/bus ticket, I WILL show up on schedule! I have a passport and I like to use it.
(I don't shoot bondage, and I'm happy to discuss concepts for girl/girl shoots beforehand.)
New models and photographers: I want to help you improve your craft. Let me know if I can help.
