What You Should Know About Me:
*I'm an actor.
*I'm a student at the University of Toronto
*I take my work seriously, but I'm in this for a creative outlet, I'm not trying to be the Next Top Model and so I'm more interested in doing creative shoots
*I will do paid and TFC, but either way I'm looking to work with talented professional people
*I do very limited artistic nude shoots, and I stress the term ARTISTIC. Please do not bother to contact me if all you shoot is "glamour" shots, I won't respond if your work looks like something out of a porno mag. Sorry if that comes across as bitchy, but I am sick of it. I only do paid nude shoots, contact me for details.
What I Expect:
*Be on time
*Contact me 24 hours in advance min. if you are canceling- chances are I've canceled something (like work) to do a shoot with you, so please don't waste my time
*Be professional: I'm an easy going person, I don't mind if you joke around, but know that there is a line
*Don't invite other people to the shoot unless you have cleared it with me first
*Stick to the deal: if we agree to do a clothes shoot, don't try to get me to do a nude one. If we agree I get a cd of all the pics, give it to me within a reasonable amount of time (I figure 3 weeks unless we have discussed beforehand it taking longer). I did shoots a year ago I never got the pics back from, and that is frustrating beyond belief.
What You'll Get:
*Creativity: like I said, I'm an actor, if you want me to be creative or collaborate on an idea, then great! I can also just follow directions if you know what exactly you want, just let me know
*Professionalism: I will be there, on time, ready to go. I sign release forms, I will shoot what we agreed on, none of that showing up and trying to change the deal bullshit.
*Good reviews: If I work with you and enjoy working with you (regardless of whether or not I enjoy the end result) I'll tell people about it! Of course I'm looking to get some good shots, but I am just as interested in the actual experience as the end result. I have recommended photographers who I liked working with, even if I didn't like their work.
*Networking: kind of ties in with the good reviews I guess, but again, I tell people about who I've worked with, what kind of job you did- I can help out new photographers by spreading your name around
I have worked with everyone in my Top Friends and would recommend them all
