Our Damn Selves is a representative of the ssd art collective. My photographic focus is on the mundane and the mute in life, urban decay and feminist empowerment. This ideal and all of it's relatives are devote to the creation of art. I believe in reviving the lost moments of the human experience. In music, writing and paint this comes true. You will only find it in the least curious moments and underneath all the everything we have forgotten about.
Exhibition of all work is strictly for art gallery and literary and art publication.
I am currently looking to continue my study in female nude work. My images, which are digitally untouched, are very raw and untidy.
If we are trading and you want photo-shop work done I will do it for you, no problem, but do not credit me. I will also shoot fashion or art shots for your portfolio.
I do not shoot on sets and I adhere to images that do not look polished or overworked. I do not hunt for the Kodak moment. Art is found in the real, not the created for ideals.
The nude work I am now doing is meant to portray a strong feminist ideal within the art of nude photography. Because I consider this a "cause of importance" I do not pay models, but will do any trades asked of me. The people I work with deserve millions, but for the work to be right I need an all volunteer army. I hope you will enjoy and look forward to your thoughts.
