I've been a photographer for 25 years for various organizations and I now co-own my own studio in Cottonwood Heights with my wonderful wife Francie. Like a number of photographers I started with film and developed my own work (my father taught me). I shoot everything from photojournalism for a fire department, as well as the largest newspaper in Utah, to studio work, to wildlife.
In our studio my wife and I shoot portraits, headshots, product shots, food, and other things as asked. We shoot weddings and family events as well as sports and we also make ads for small businesses. I also teach classes to people who want to learn the technical aspects of photography both in the studio between appointments and at students homes.
My favorite Utah photographers include, Francie, Bill Bates (mm 127047), Josh Waldron and others.
