Things To Know:
1). I am all for spontaneity when shooting people. Some of the best photos one can not plan for.
2). For all TF* shoots I will give the model a photo CD of all images that turn out. Not just a select few that I considered the best. I prefer to let the person I photograph to determine what images do them the most justice.
3). By default I share copyrights to all images taken 50/50 with a model for each of our portfolios, but that is negotiable.
4). I am always happy to help people new to modeling get some basic shots out of the way to have something to work with.
5). I typically keep things kind of natural (and frugal) and rarely will hire a makeup artist or wardrobe person.
6). I still consider Pluto a planet!!
7). Policy on friend requests: I accept friend requests from people from the local Buffalo/Niagara region primarily. I assume that friend lists are for marketing more than actual friendships, and in that sense try to help the local artists, more than people 3+ hours away, by being very selective about those not from the area that I choose to add.

Comments:
I am sensitive to how the fashion industry gives us all self image problems with its very restricted idea of beauty (which is apparent in how much they are able to pay the 1% of people that "have the look", that by no means can possibly represent everyone). I typically try to steer clear of taking the more fashion oriented photos. I think people photos should be mostly about character, and not about vague facial expressions that don't have any particular meaning.
Credits
I offer much credit to all that have helped me along the way, and to all those that have stood in my way, not so much credit.
