Blue Hen Studios is now my main location but I am going to reach out and do meet and greets where and when I can - be it at the beach during the summer, a park here or there, one's studio (not just mine) in and around Delaware, etc. More than anything I want to keep flexibility in my shooting and this was the best course for me. I am also looking to put on shooting events that will be primarily on location - again - down the beach, at a farmhouse, private home, a mansion, etc. as well as at times at the studio. Eventually at the studio the backyard will be fenced up with other vignettes for private location shooting. Also - I am continuing to shoot all over the country - not just here in good ol' Delaware Valley region - but also Las Vegas, San Francisco, Miami, etc. and also internationally - Singapore, London, Hong Kong, Warsaw, Prague, etc. In other words, with all my traveling I have to have flexibility in what and where I shoot. So - low and behold - back to my roots.
One important thing I need to announce is the addition of Dave as Assistant Organizer/Scheduler for the events and shoots I am looking to do. As you will see he is helping out immensely with putting everything together for all of us. Please welcome him in replacing Jen in this role.
Now onto the events - the first and most important thing on my mind is to get the Meet & Greet / Shootout Events rolling again. We want this year's events to be BIG! Models will be asked to come ready to pose (in costume or as applicable). Photographers...well, it's your call. So we will have the meet & greet portion first - as always - where everyone mingles, swap business info, etc. for an hour - and then we will have the main event - THE PHOTO SHOOTOUT - this will be themed and we will hold back some twists and turns on it (as always) until that night. The main thing is to get everyone shooting, modeling, madeup with hair and makeup....AND GO! Winners will receive a trophy at the next one! We are also actively looking for more sponsors for these events.
