My name is Michelle Umipeg, but most call me "Mish". It rhymes with "wish". I am offering makeup services as well as hair styling. If needed, I can assist with wardrobe styling and art directing as well.
I am also an actress, model,burlesque performer, and recently graduated from cosmetology school. I've worked in diverse areas of the entertainment and beauty industry spanning approximately ten years.Wearing all of these hats has endowed me with a unique insight as a makeup artist and hair stylist that few in the field have. I am easy to work with, and always up to the challenge of assisting a photographer in capturing their vision.
My styles run the gamut from: "natural" and "clean" beauty, bridal/special occasion, retro/historical, film/tv/theatrical, fashion, basic horror/casualty, and avant garde. I enjoy researching different looks so don't be afraid to ask. Eventually I'd like to learn more techniques such as bodypainting and special effects (especially prosthetics).
I use materials that are ethically minded-- as environmentally and animal friendly in content, packaging, and production-- as possible.
