I am a 30 year old female finishing up by B.F.A. in photography at Saginaw Valley State University this December! I plan to move closer to family near Ann Arbor and start up my own studio in the next year.
I work mostly in portrait, wedding and fashion, but am always willing and hoping for something new and different! I also have experience with children and have worked with a range of ages. I'm an open girl and expect nothing less from the people I work with!!
I am in the process of moving my website over from HTML to Flash, so none of my work is on a website at this time. I will be adding my work to
http://www.nicole-pfeiffer.deviantart.com/ however if you would like to see more from me.
Due to many years of working on my own, I have collected a nice size wardrobe for my female models - so you never have to worry about getting your own clothes dirty or wet! I love vintage and I primarily stock that type of item. But we can always go Goodwilling together to pick something up as well!
Right now I am only offering TFCD or paid work. I am about done with all my free/trade shoots as I have been getting booked more and more for paid jobs. However, I am looking to add to my portfolio still and would love some professional models to help with that, so those shoots are always open to discussion.
* Things to keep in mind when working with me: I am responsible, on time and pretty straight forward. If you need to cancel, just tell me, don't wait to the last moment to call off. I usually can process images in 1-2 weeks depending on my workload. I work 20 hours a week, attend school part-time and shoot at least twice a week, so please don't bug me about getting your images before that time frame. I work hard on editing and put a lot of effort and care into what I do - it's half of what I love about digital photography. I don't give models unedited photos, period. I want to offer you the final product and I wouldn't feel professional about doing anything less. Due to this as well, I do not allow you to edit or have someone else edit my photos after you have received them. Once I pass them to you, they are in their final stage and need to stay that way. Otherwise you are compromising my vision and my work. If you need other edits - just ask me. The only exception to this is if you come to me with an exact artist in mind with an exact idea that is beyond what I can or want to do. I will approve certain ideas as long as you just ask me. What I provide you with is a CD that contains both high-res images for you to print only and also watermarked copies of low-res images for you to publish to the internet. Art theft is a major issue and I am more then concerned about how my images are displayed online. I expect you to publish only the watermarked, low-res images for a reason - please respect this. Right now I am the photographer, the MUA, the wardrobe stylist and hair stylist. This is not by choice, but at this time I am trying to make a name for myself, so I can't pay anyone else to help me on my shoots. I am looking to work with anyone willing to help for free and for trade of images.
Other then that - I am a friendly person, so drop me a line if you just want to talk shop. And please be respectful of my models and copyright of my images!

I do put large watermarks on my work, because art theft is an issue.
Equipment: DSLR Canon 5D with 24-105 IS L, 70-200 IS L, 430EX, 580 EX II. I also work in 35mm b/w film and 4x5 large format film processing for fine art photography.
