Hello, my name is Michelle Duma, (Shell). My passion for the art of makeup design began when I bought my first brush and pallet as a little girl. From way back then, to the turn of 2008, I finally decided to follow my dreams and color the world with my talents. An artist in many senses, I have worked in many different creative avenues, from florist to visual merchandiser. One thing that has always been a source of inspiration for my love of all things creative and beautiful was.....Makeup! Makeup is so much more than just colors and chemicals. To me, it also boosts my own confidence and personality in my everyday life.
I now want to bring that same gift of empowerment to others, showing them that makeup can be a very powerful tool, helping bring your beauty out from within. Growing up in the United Kingdom, with a Fine Arts background it has helped tremendously when I started my quest here in the United States by attending a professional Beauty Academy in Virginia. There I received my training and certification as a Professional Makeup Artist. Together with some of the areas foremost artists, I have learned cutting edge techniques whilst focusing on Glamour, Bridal, Print Work and so much more...
I was born in London, England, and now reside in Maryland, USA.
