Mavis Chen is a freelance stylist currently based in Shanghai.

Born in China in 1982 and grew up between China and New Zealand. Initially learning Chinese Painting, Sketch and Music while she was in primary school in China, and then continued learning Art and Design at high school in New Zealand; in year 2003, She finished studying Fashion Design and Marketing & Management in New Zealand.

At the end of year 2004, Mavis moved to Shanghai and started at the successful workshop, ‘O4-Orient4 Shanghai (Pius 4 Workshop)‘ and went on to become both its Manager and Stylist for a two and half year period.

Later Mavis started only focusing on styling as a freelance. She works for different Fashion Designers, Magazines and Advertising Agents, working on their image which also includes business strategy, marketing processes or simply styling the campaigns.
