In August 2009 I moved back to Brisbane, Australia after living in the UK for 13 years.
I love urban location shoots! In the UK, I had been working with models on outdoor shoots around Birmingham and the Black Country.
I love using the amazing architecture and backdrops found in cities as an integral part of my images. I work with both natural light and with flash.
In terms of clothes, anything is good for me - jeans, jackets, hats, dresses, heels, boots, whatever. I prefer models to have 2 or 3 different looks - even if it is just adding a hat or different jacket to what you're wearing. Models are welcome to bring a chaperone with them. Shoots last for around 2 hours.
I work on a TFCD basis. I provide models with a CD with the best 20-30 images of the shoot. I like to get the shots right in camera and usually do only minor post-processing work on them in Lightroom and sometimes in Photoshop. I do not airbrush photos so models look like they have unrealistic, porcelain doll faces.
