I was a full time photographer for years when I lived in Chicago. I now live on the east coast and I am pursuing other artistic and creative endeavors. I still do the occasional photo shoot when a model approaches me or if I come across a model I feel has  unique appeal. I guess now, I would be considered a part time photographer but creativity is still a full time gig.
     I prefer film over memory cards, although, this past year I was dragged kicking and screaming into the digital world. I still won't ever give up my medium format cameras.
    Most of my photos are artistic nudes with a slightly erotic edge but never crossing that line. Sexy is not porn and porn is never sexy, if that makes any sense. I believe  the model's attitude is ultimately more important than her appearance in creating a beautiful photo. I tend to believe beauty can just happens. I like photo shoots to be free flowing in the sense that I would rather take a hundred shots to get one great photo instead of trying to pose a model for 30 minutes in hopes of getting that one same shot.
