About me:
Mindi is my nickname, I use my real name when copyrighting images.
I am a self-taught student photographer and photo re-toucher.
I'm open-minded and easy to get on with. I'm very creative and passionate with my work.
If you have a certain style you would like to shoot in, let me know and we'll work together to create the best outcome.
I am permanently on crutches and this does limit my travelling/schedule, but I'm very passionate about photography and even though I am not studying a degree for it - please do not under estimate what I am capable of doing. (Achievements written in credit section).
All of the shoots (whether playful or serious) is all about having fun, enjoying what you are doing and having a high quality outcome. My goals are to establish good relationships with my clients (and keep in contact), to build a big professional portfolio and to provide clients with high quality images.
**I never give out a cd with all unedited/RAW images to models/stylists.**
[b]Cost/Travel/Location: The photo-shoots at the moment do not cost anything. I will only be conducting TFCD shoots and as I’m a student I can't cover travel expenses, really sorry!
As I don't have my own studio, the photo-shoots will have to be taken at a location and due to my limited travel, I will only be able to do shoots around London/Greater London/Middlesex/Berkshire.
Amount of photographs taken at shoot: For most photo-shoots, I will take over hundreds of images (it’s what I do, I get carried away sometimes!) However keep in mind that all the photographs I take are never given to you, only the final set of images will be given (this will literally be the case for 99.9% of photographers). Roughly 8 -10 Images will be given. I will email them at Low Res for web use with copyright/watermark (and all captions as stated in model release forms must credit Mindi Photography). If needed for professional portfolio use, please let me know before hand so I can send the images out seperately as high res images on a CD for you to use only for portfolio book -NOT COMMERCIALLY OR WEB USE as these images will not be watermarked. All of this will be explained to you on the shoot along with a model release form, which is compulsory.
Editing: Editing takes 1- 2 weeks. I doubt it'll ever be later and if anything is going to alter this I will let you know. I don't over edit photographs, sometimess I hardly edit them at all- it all depends on our ideas when we collaborate.
Extra Information:
I don't like to limit myself to one genre within my work, I like to experiment with my creativity an portray unique twists to images whether its Portraiture, Fashion, Surreal, Commercial, Band/Live photography, Documentry style and so on. I, however, do alot of work within Alternative/Alt Fashion shoots as I have alot of experince with this genre, but who's to say we can't twist and complete alter the type of 'alternative' concept known to the public? (Punk, Horror themes, Horror Punk, Pin-up, Extreme Make-up, Metal, Dark, different era's 30s-80's, Creative fashion, make-up and hair shoots, Fairtytale, Rockabilly, Death rock, Body Mod portraits: Tattoos/Piercings, etc).
For shoots, I may bring a chaperone along to shoots and I'm happy with you bringing a chaperone if you wish.
PLEASE READ:
-Background, physical appearance, gender, sizes and pretty much everything of models are not bounded to one type. There are no constrictions to what you want to do or think you are capable off.
-After a couple of awful bookings, I expect the model to be reliable and not to alter the dates that
they chose in the first place. I put lots of time and effort in to organize locations, time and travel and do not appreciated models cancelling a shoot a few hours or a day before.
-On Time
-A few idea's and goals they'd like to achieve for the shoot.
