Hi everyone! I just graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Photography and a minor in 2D Studio Art. Right now, my work is amateurish, but I want to expand my portfolio and start doing a lot more fashion photography. Most of my undergrad work was on bands, concerts, live entertainment, etc. And a lot of the projects were in the fine art side of photography, not really a lot of fashion was shown in class. So, now, I want to branch out and do more work and different work. The toughest part right now is finding models. I am very serious about my photography and I really want to be successful in it.
I need models and make-up artists. I have been doing the make-up myself and I've done pretty decent but I need someone who can go way beyond my skills.
If you would like to help me out please let me know. I will do work for TFP or TFCD. No paid shoots (sorry I'm a broke recent college grad). No nudity. If there's an idea you would like me to try out, let me know what it is and I will work with you on it. I would love to do costume, fashion, and beauty shoots. I am guilty of over processing a photo here and there in Photoshop. I do love the natural looking photographs, but every once in a while I get a wild urge to just make the photo drastic, if it's strong enough to begin with. I am in the process of trying to create and build my own studio so photo shoots would have to be outside. But once I have my studio up and running I will certainly be shooting a lot more in there.
**I just got a job as an art teacher so my time is now limited to weekends.
P.S. I am a borderline insomniac. Haha. So, ideas always come to me in the middle of the night. I'll right them down so I won't forget but that's also when I decide to email people and message people so I won't forget to either. My ideas can come from anywhere really... dreams, music, movies, nature, a general feeling or emotion, etc. And I have so many. I just haven't been able to go through with the idea because I honestly just do not personally know anyone who is willing to model for me. So, please help me build my port and your port.
