My name is Stephanie Sonju. I started my photography business in December of 2007, and have been CONSUMED by photography for about 8 years now.
I love different angles, creative lighting, and beautiful people.
When it comes to thinking of concepts, I like to collaborate with the model. I usually have a location in mind, and once I meet the model, the rest just kind of comes to me. I love creepy, hidden, out-of-the-box locations, but I won't shoot if there's a "No Trespassing" sign posted. (I'll simply remove said sign, shoot, and replace it.)
What I do:
- Weird locations
- Meet with the model first. Whether it's Starbucks, a bookstore, or walking around Walmart at 3 am, it must be done.
- TF*:
- 5 edited images for online use
- discounted prices for prints from sonjuphotography.zenfolio.com
- trade for location, prop, coffee, or a killer discount to Victoria's Secret.

What I DON'T do:
- Suicide Girl shoots
- Angel wings, cereal, caution tape, fake blood, butt-shots, rubber duckies, bath tubs (unless you have one of those awesome claw-footed ones...then we'll talk.)
- CD's of unedited RAW images.
- Escorts that are jealous boyfriends, crazy step-mothers, or other photographers.
I used to list all the talented people I've worked with, but let's keep it real. No one really reads all that.
I give credit to every model, MUA, stylist, or random cop that was involved in the photograph in my port.
