I had the good fortune to have a darkroom in my home when I was growing up in Northern California. I learned how to process film and prints, and had my own SLR at the age of 10. However, I did little more than dabble until recently.
A trip to the Galapagos in 2005 inspired me to delve deeper into the art of photography. Since then I’ve expanded my portfolio beyond wildlife to include subjects as diverse as sports, music, fashion and modern dance.
I don’t do paid shoots. My time is much more important to me than compensation, and I tend to be very selective about who I shoot with. So be interesting and willing to be creative if you'd like to work with me. And come ready to contribute -- I'm one of those types who thinks photography is a collaborative process.
