About Me: My name is Ian and Kreativitet is my creative outlet.  I am an amateur photographer in the sense that photography isn’t my day job.   However, I am professional in my aspirations and attitude.   Would I love to be a professional photographer?  Of course.  In fact, I have aspirations far beyond my station, but I believe this is a good thing.  I have qualifications, but not in photography.  What I know I have learned by trying, watching, asking and persevering.  I aim to get better.  I aim to be the best.  After trying different things, I am now primarily interested in shooting fashion and commercial style images.  I have worked with a range of models and MUAs, some on here, some from elsewhere.  I am always open to learning more, and love to have tuition from someone who clearly leads their particular field.  If you feel you can offer me new skills and ideas, please email me and let me know.

What I Like to Shoot: At the moment, I am into shooting fashion style images.  I have shot higher levels, but unless there is a real conceptual need for it, I prefer clothes to be on in some way.  I am heavily influenced by the more alternative style fashion images I see, and like to be able to work with a model and MUA to create something we are all happy with.  My influences are varied.  I have many, and think even though we don’t like to admit it, we are influenced by what we see.  In my academic days I was told ‘copying one person is plagiarism, copying many is research’.  I firmly believe this.  At the moment I am also into Front Magazine.  I don’t know why.  I’m not particularly into the nipple count, but love the rawness of the images.  While I love polished images, I also like the ‘professional amateurism’ (or should that be amateurish professionalism) that it encompasses.  Also, I am liking various alt looks too.  I would like to do more work covering alt-fashion.  To note, I hate the term glamour.  It’s the word I don’t like, not glamour images per-se.
