What we do:
We offer a wide range of photo retouching; from basic dust removal and color correction to background substitutions and complete image art creations. We also offer photo restorations. So please let us know what your needs are and we will do our best to make them come true.

Your images:  
    •     A high resolution digital format of an image is necessary to begin the retouching process. 
          If your material isn’t in digital format already, we will need to make a scan of your image.

    •     We can work with any format you supply to us, from high resolution digital files (300 dpi), to photographs, negatives, slides or transparencies.

    •    
Please include detailed notes about the alterations you would like us to achieve.


Procedure:
    •     Once we receive your material and notes, we contact you by phone and discuss all your needs for each picture. 

    •     We then proceed to do the work.

    •     Once the alterations completed, we email you a low resolution copy for your approval. 
          Should you need further improvements, we will gladly do so until you are completely satisfied. 

    •    Once approved, we will either burn the retouched image(s) onto a CD, or we will make an archival digital print, any size up to                .


Rates: 
$45 /hour*

We will be glad to give you a free estimate for any work. If already in digital format, simply email us a low resolution image with your comments/requests and we will get back to you shortly with a free estimate. Otherwise, please contact us to discuss your project.

Turnaround: 
5-7 business days, depending on job size.
Rush service available at additional cost.

Scanning fees: images can be scanned from either flat art prints or transparencies up to 12.75x18.75, up to 3200DPI. scanning is $25 for the first item, and $10 for each additional included with the order.

Output format:

All retouching is done at 300DPI "At Size" for the target image size. Please let us know what your final image size is as a part of the ordering process to assure adequate resolution at your largest print size. We can accommodate target image sizes up to 6' x 9' (72" x 81") providing that they are at that resolution when they arrive here. We cannot be responsible for losses in image quality due to excessive "Upscaling".
We utilize Genuine Fractals 5.2 and Pixel SmartScale for upscaling, which highly minimizes losses, but cannot be completely lossless.

Digital images may be returned to the client via mail up to 10MB in file size, otherwise they can either be printed or stored to CD or DVD.  CD output is $15 per disc, DVD output is $25 per disc.


Payments: 
We accept cashier’s checks, company checks, and most major credit cards.

Once you agree on the estimate: One half of the estimate is due when we quote the order and before we start work or after you send us your image(s).
The remaining half is due when you approve the retouching proof sent to you by email and before we send you back the original image and the final product (CD/DVD/or Prints).
