     Hey! Welcome to the Model Mayhem Home of Michael Jacobs Photo! I am a young photographer based out of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Shooting people is my favorite endeavor. You can get an endless amount of expression, emotion and vulnerability from the human palette. Most of my work revolves around
Fashion, Glamour, Portraiture,
Conceptual/Fine Art and model portfolio building
Extensive work also includes Runway/Fashion Show and Event Photography
I am also very proficient in Photo Shop Retouching.

When working with me: Never take yourself too seriously but please bring 100% of you to the creative table whether its playing the part of an abused abandoned subject or posing in a g string for glamour. I am pretty quirky, crack the corniest jokes and will probably do a song and dance while we shoot. I am not out to shoot porn or anything crass or vulgar. If a concept we choose does involve a certain type of nudity I will be upfront and professional and never allow you to feel uncomfortable or compromised in any situation. With that said, be comfortable with yourself and be vulnerable enough to try different ideas even if they fail.

Frees and Fees: I am primarily a TFP(Time for Photo) Photographer, meaning pro bono, I shoot you, you get pictures we both win, yay. Though there are certain jobs that I do require a small sitting fee and charge basic rates for things such as portraiture/headshots/ and events. I do have my own basement studio but prefer on location shooting most of the time.
