I am a Massachusetts College of Art Alumni.
and I have a studio in the western suburbs of Boston
My pictures do not scream, it is deliberate, contemplative, quite and powerful. I am in the mist of process, not at the end product. I hope that the whole body of work will be greater than the sum of its parts.
I have no grand illusions about the art world. I have no desire to
shoot for the high end fashion magazines.
I do have a desire for a published book of images.
I have been influenced by fine artist; Joyce Tennyson, Andrew Wyeth, Stieglitz and other artist who explore their medium with a sense of mystery, equivalents, loss and a bit of fantasy.
I am at the interesting point now where I am starting to repeat my own images. The point were I start inventing something new.
I am a working photographer; the owner of a Mom and Pop studio in the Boston suburbs. The idealized 20 something who was an art student long ago has never left me. I try to bring a sense of fine art to the every day portraits when ever I can.
I am on this site to look for collaborators. Models who want to work and push their own limits as I push mine.
Please email me with your thoughts and ideas of risk.
