MARCH 2009 UPDATE: I am currently in production making our first music video. We are doing it all basically ourselves with the help of some key talented friends. That means, I am on the microphone and keys and my love C is on the drums, guitar and Sato on bass. Yup. We have our own concept, our own costumes, our own makeup, our own backdrop and props. We have set up a recording studio to do the shoot.
It is my goal to network with business professionals to gain more opportunities to further my career in the public eye.
I don't have any tattoos or scars. Only my ears are pierced. I will not do nudes...tasteful lingerie is okay but it depends on the photographer and if I feel comfortable.
I got my first modeling gig as a 10 year old. A photographer walked into my elementary school and asked me if I would model for him outside in the fog. The next day I was on the front page of the local newspaper, "The Girl in the Fog!" Good thing I got dressed up that day...it was my birthday...and ever since I've made a point to look my best everytime I walk out my front door. I've been in all the right places at all the right times and thank GOD I looked good! LOL I've had many opportunities come my way and I think it's got to do with the fact that I am all put together...physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I don't drink, nor do I smoke. I eat healthy organic foods and stay active.
While living in Boca Raton FL I was approached by John Casablanca's and Elle Models but I declined. They wanted ME to pay THEM! Yah, right! NOT.
I've got compensated experience in modeling, wardrobe styling, hair and makeup, coordinating fashion shows, singing, acting, recording, song writing, live performance and entertaining in front of the camera and capturing entertainment from behind the camera.
I am a photographer as well. I got paid to do makeup, fashion coordination, and a photoshoot for a New England band whose story was being told in the Rolling Stone magazine. The photo I took was submitted to Rolling Stone and got published in an April 2004 Special Issue The 50th Anniversary of Rock Rolling Stone The Immortals The 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
My first passion besides my husband is being a singer and frontwoman to my own original band with my soulmate of the last 14 years. I studied piano since age 5 and since age 15 I am classically trained in voice and singing. I used to sing with the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra with James Judd as the conductor. I am currently rehearsing in a recording studio here in New England. Our band is Alternative/Rock/R&B..an all original band.
To this date, my hair is long layered and Manic Panic Purple Haze in the front and on the sides. I still have my natural light brown hair color in the back as the longer layers.
I moved to Belgium and lived in Antwerpen when I was 17 and lived there for two and half years. Ik ben geen stomme Amerikaan!!! Je ne suis pas un Américain stupide!!! Along the way I learned to speak Dutch, Flemish, Spanish, a little German, a little French, a little Hindi, a little Lebonese, a little Arabic, a little Russian, and a little Polish....enough to get by!
I am looking to do photoshoots as a model and also for the band. My husband is my bodyguard and accompanies me to all my photoshoots for my own safety, comfort and protection, especially if you are a new photographer I have never worked with thus far. He does not and will not get in the way, nor will he be a distraction either. He doesn't even have to be near, just at a location near me where I can do my work in the presence of being safe. If I feel comfortable it will show in my work.
I am easy to work with and adaptable to each and every shoot. I am a people person with lots of character, spunk, drive and talent.
