I am currently not shooting boudoir any longer, mainly due to getting married soon. I still shoot weddings of course, and I may soon tweak this MM page to reflect that.
I am a Nashville photographer.
The models I've worked with are all comfortable around me, and we tend to have a fun time shooting together. (just ask 'em) Having fun lends itself to great photos.
Some of you who know me may wonder why I downgraded from my "Pro" portfolio/profile here on MM. I simply decided to spend the money on my advertizing budget, rather than here. I do kinda miss having 100 photos on here though.
PLEASE READ BELOW, IF YOU WANT TO SHOOT WITH ME...
*Posted 12/10/08* Just to be straight on how I handle TFP shoot images. (and this is very common among photographers) I do NOT pass out full CD's of unedited photos to the model. Not even one unedited photo goes out. ---Would Mercedes Benz want one of their cars going out of the factory without paint on it? Same thing. Either I, or we, will select the best photos, and I will edit them for use, and distribute them to the model. Usually, I'm just as excited about seeing the new photos as you are. This is why I usually get my first one or two images edited and sent out on the same day as the shoot! The rest, will be sent out as I edit them. Keep the following in mind. 1) Taking the photos is only HALF the job. The rest of what makes them great, is the post processing, aka, editing.
2) Please realize it takes a lot of time for downloading photos from the camera into the computer, then selecting which to use, then editing them, one by one. Sometimes one photo edit can take a full hour or more.
Wouldn't you rather have a few GREAT photos than to have 300 mediocre ones? If you want the 300 from one shoot, then maybe you shouldn't be modeling. It's not about quantity, it's quality.
I just wanted my future TFP/TFCD models to understand this ahead of time, so my policies are clear. : )
