BREAKING NEWS: I have just secured and allocated funding for my CALENDAR PROJECT. Any interested parties/models/MUAs/etc please msg me for more :-)
I am a part-time/very-amateur/freelance/feral photographer. I Work in both South Africa, Middle-East, S. America, USA and Europe. I prefer fashion, biopic, fitness and photo-journalistic shoots. As a 28 year veteran of the airline piloting industry, my 'real' job has me travelling the globe. However, one day, when I'm old and (re)tired, I'm gonna tackle this full-time and with the ferocity it deserves.
I have umpteen ideas for coffee table books, calendars, etc. One of my long term goals is to produce a book/52 page-a-week calendar called 'African Gods' which basically should be a whole lot of muscle shot in some of Africa's most exotic locations (trust me, there are plenty). I have flown the continent flat, and have always thought...mmm...this would be the perfect spot for... I have LOTS of free time to ruminate. So if you are a model and planning to be on the planet earth area in the near future, contact me!
My ultimate goal is, via my visual arts, to tapestry my story that I have been wanting to tell for over 40 years now!

Dear Paul: I duly note your calendar casting for “REAL SA men” that will show “the ‘real’ SA man in his environment.” Judging from both the magnificent way you photograph men -- and your wonderful ability to capture the beauty of your country -- your project has a good chance of turning out very well indeed. Dammitall, I wish I could participate! Trouble is, you’d have to make a special allowance in my case and designate the page as portraying “the ‘phony’ SA man who’s never actually even been here.” LOL: Oh, well, I can dream, can’t I?!
