I’m a jewelry designer in Melbourne, Australia, and my brand name is Joolz.
I use recycled materials, pearls, Australian stones & wood, and occasionally vintage children’s toys in my designs.
My approach to making jewelry is that if I can incorporate locally-sourced, sustainable, vintage or recycled items into my work, I will do so.
Also of note: Joolz beat a bunch of major brands, including Dolce & Gabbana, with my first collection, entered in the Essential Awards for Accessories Brand of the Year at the end of 2007.
My work is all limited edition – either one-offs, small runs or individual orders.

That's all I can think of right now! Its late and I have no brain. Probably need to add a few more but that'll have to do for the time being! If you have worked with me and are outraged that I have forgotten you, please please please forgive me and send me a little message to remind me how fab you are. I'm very tired while I'm doing this and I'm sure I've forgotten someone!
Models/stylists/MUAs/photographers interested in working with Joolz: I really love being involved in shoots and shows, and I appreciate your interest, but I'm not always available. If you ask, and your work (MUAs & Photographers) or your look (Models) is of a high standard, then yes, often I will let you borrow some designs for a shoot in return for prints/cd even if I can't be there, but I like to know a bit about you/the concept before I will say yes to that. If you're not going to be able to provide me with at least one high-quality photograph which I can use somewhere then its unlikely I'll say yes. Thanks so much for your interest.
Edit: Due to a couple of unfortunate 'incidents', I may require you to pay a bond prior to handing over any Joolz if you want to borrow them for a shoot. I hate the idea of charging people a rental fee to borrow my designs for a shoot, but unfortunately it looks like becoming necessary due to some incidents where items have been lost/broken/stolen/damaged & need repair. If you don't have shoot insurance, and I don't know you personally, just be aware that a bond is going to sometimes be necessary. I'm not setting it in stone just yet - but I'm putting it out there.
