22-year old multimedia arts fresh grad from dls-csb
i do digital & film + lomo photography
started with photography around 4 years ago during basic film photography class, shooting landscapes and sceneries. later on shifted to my favorite field in photography and that would be shooting fashion and portraits on location, although right now i am more into natural outdoor portraits. i am not a professional photographer but i want to expand my portfolio. i attended photography training in school (csb), phil. center for creative imaging and memento creative studio.
i prefer using toy cameras or any other medium on fun shoots because my style is pretty much vintage-ish and i am one of those few believers that film is the soul of photography. i can also shoot digital and do post-processing but film is basically my favorite medium so don't be surprised when i use about 5-6 film cameras on a shoot because the results are pure awesomeness.
currently available for projects and i never charge for personal projects, as long as my schedule is not busy.
you can pm me if interested.. and if you have some concepts of your own, don't hesitate to share as well!
CURRENT + UPCOMING PERSONAL PROJECTS:
ANALOG SQUARE PORTRAITS (NOV-DEC 2009)
we usually do this during the weekends around salcedo park and the fort, a fun shoot that me and my friends from lomomanila use to catch up with each other and just have fun shooting around.
this is a series of outdoor portrait shots captured on film (color negative and black & white) using classic medium format cameras like the mamiya, yashica mat or holga and other lomo cameras. it is basically capturing the simplicity and expression of a portrait. this is more of a personal art project and sort of my going back to basics experiment. analog love baby.
* so if you're down with this collab/project and want your face to be captured on film the vintage way.. just hit that msg button. *wink wink*
* you can check some behind-the-scenes of my previous shoots at the blog page of my site. cheers!
* If we do schedule a shoot, I expect a shoot to happen. I never did once flaked on a shoot, so please NO FLAKES. So that our time preparing won't be wasted, as we are also collaborating with other people in my team (co-photog, stylist, mua and assistant). Thanks!
