My passion goes way beyond clothes; it’s the emotions the garments capture. The way a simple white tee done in a new way can just evoke more then what it is. I am a fashion stylist, editor of fashion, and creative director. I recently graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a degree in Visual Communications and I also have a second degree in Studio Art. My inspirations come from almost everything that surrounds me, but the city, the urban culture brings out the best of me. This I believe comes from my childhood and teenage years, because I was born and raised in the suburbs, the city is a new world from me, its that piece I always wanted to have. My style is simplistic but still bold, its not about pilling 20 garments of clothes on a model to attract a viewer, its about choosing the right garments that marries the surrounding and the emotions as artist we are trying to portray. My influences are a few, and when I fist discovered these symbols of fashion, I was even more inspired to reach after my dreams: Rei Kawakubo founder of Comme des Garcons (she is truly designing clothes for design aspect and the art that it is), Kate Moss (that oddness that she possesses is the reason she is who she is, a chameleon one a kind), and Polly Allen Mellen ( the oldest, and one of the true “interpreters of fashion”).
