"The camera can represent flesh so superbly that, if I dared, I would never photograph a figure without asking that figure to take its clothes off." — George Bernard Shaw
At the risk of sounding pretentious, I'm interested in exploring the human condition. How our bodies define us, and how we define our bodies…what we find beautiful, and what that says about us. I am interested in glamour and fashion, not just for themselves but in the greater context of art and psychology. I'm also interested in using photography to explore and celebrate the beauty in diverse body types, not just the slim range of models we see in magazines.
So let's make some pictures. I'm most interested in TFP/TFCD shoots, though I'd love to pay models someday when I can actually afford to.
I'm also open to modeling, less because I consider myself any sort of model and more that a) I like helping fellow artists, b) I want to learn from photographers who have more experience working with models and c) I just feel like if I'm going to ask other people to get naked and take directions, I should have some sense of what it's like to be in their shoes. But that's just me.
