Important stuff:

I do not accept random friend requests. Before sending a friend request, please drop me a line to say hi, let me know what you like about my work, or some other form of contact. Random friend requests from Botswana don't really lead to shoot opportunities.

I work TF* only. I do not pay, and I do not expect to be paid. I will, however, do everything I can to ease the burden of transportation, food, etc, but I do not pay hourly rates. I'm a broke artist with big dreams of success, but I'm also a realist. No one is lining up to buy my work. I'm in this for the love of photography and creating art that people love.

I have a creative bent for alternative art and imagery, and am currently looking to work with other people - male or female - who share similar artistic interests. I'm hoping to find less than perfect people, with scars, tattoos, piercings, body mods, etc.  I really look for something different, and shy away from the same old canned content and same old cookie cutter stuff that has been done a thousand times over -  I want to meet those with an artistic drive, are willing to share their ideas and be a part of the creative process and don't mind experimenting and stepping outside of the norm.

I shoot for the sheer fun of shooting - I will never be a high fashion "in demand" photographer, but I have a ton of fun experimenting, messing around and seeing what the model and myself can create. I've made some great friends along the way, and hope to make many more. I don't have fancy lights, strobes, or umbrellas.. I don't have studio, I don't have sets or fancy props, or any of that... I just get into an environment and make use of whatever I can find within arms reach. Often, my environment is my biggest inspiration.

What I do have is a creative bent, ideas, and a great, easy-going personality.

In case it's not obvious by now, I have a preference for black and white, and a very photojournalistic approach to my subject matter. If you're looking for perfectly airbrushed maxim glam, I'll probably disappoint. (But I'd try it anyways!) Currently interested in shooting something along the lines of:

Fine art - Masquerade, glam, 40's speakeasy, etc. Landscape, greyscale, exaggerated colors, etc. I want to create elegant, sexy, alluring, mysterious images suitable for framing. Please see my lists for examples.

Portraiture: At this time, my MAIN interest and priorities are in shooting some high res, closeup portraits. Influenced by magazine covers such as Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone or Esquire. See my "greyscale" list for examples.

Urban Decay: Think "abandoned warehouse" or a burned out house. Abandoned prison/mental institution, anyone?

Abandoned Farm/Homestead Old, rickety windmill, open fields all around, beat up, run down old house. In IR or monotone, of course.

TFP/TFCD Terms:

* Shared copyright on all work created, as laid out in a contract/release.

* All usable photos from the shoot on DVD, in .JPG format, sized at 1500 x 1000, each color corrected and adjusted.

* A selection of specially edited 1500x1000 High-Res images.

* Two extremely high quality 8x12 matte prints

* The model receives unlimited promotional and print usage of all images but the images may not be offered for sale and there can be no transfer of rights.
