I am really sick (pneumonia and sinus infection) and have been for about 10 days.  It'll probably be a week or so before I can even think about shooting.  If you've messaged me or we're talking about a shoot, I really appreciate your patience.

If you're interested in setting up a shoot, PLEASE PM me.  I don't always get the hint from a tag of a friend request.

Also, I'm really freaking bored and have this yen to do something off the wall, exciting and slightly crazy.  If you want to shoot, there's a way to go about it with me.  Excite me.  Interest me.  Shoot wild ideas at me and you're going to get a favorable response. 

About me

I look and act like Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica.  It's so striking that my own mother has started to call me Starbuck.  So, if you want the cliffs notes about my personality, watch a few episodes and... yeah, that's pretty close.   

Fun, creative, energetic and experienced, I can bring any idea to life and help you get some amazing shots for sale or for your portfolio.  Amateur photographers are always welcome and I'm happy to help you build your portfolio and photographic skills.  Also, if the shoot is at my house, there may be really good Russian food present.  There's always a pot of borsch and it's been tasted and deemed good by a real, live Russian.

I live in urban Seattle and have access to some really cool locations, like a very natural backyard and a cool Tibetan garden.  I am married, but he's cool about what I do, knows about everything and doesn't care.  Even if we're shooting here.  If this poses a problem, please do say something.  He doesn't mind taking a walk or going to the beach for a while.  It does take a bit of work for me to get our apartment into shape, so advance notice is nice and flakes are especially irritating.

TF* work

My philosophy on shooting TF* work is for models and photographers (and stylists and makeup artists) of similar talent coming together, for the sake of producing amazing images.  I don't believe that it's an appropriate vehicle to build a "free" portfolio or a substitute for paying a professional for their services to shoot a personal project.  The arrangement should be mutually beneficial for all parties involved.

My TF* needs are currently: fashion, casual, commercial and swimwear.  I'm also willing to consider unique conceptual projects on a TF* basis as well.  The stranger and more interesting the concept, the more likely I am to be interested in it.  I'm also open to shooting TF* to benefit charities and non-profit organizations.  While I do not shoot nudity or art nudes on a TF* basis, I will consider conceptual shoots, where nudity is integral to the concept on a case by case basis.  I'm happy to sign a limited release for TF* shoots, but full commercial releases are signed for paid work only, unless there are mitigating circumstances.

Paid work

My rates for paid work are very reasonable, negotiable and I'm always willing to work out an arrangement for a shoot.  Please don't hesitate to ask and haggle with me.  I tend to quote rates on a "per shoot" basis, rather than an hourly basis.  I hate clockwatching!

Testing

I will consider test shoots with professional photographer, to be considered for future paid work.  When contacting me for a test, it's very important to give details on the project you're currently testing for.  General tests will be considered on a case by case basis.

When e-mailing, please include the following information:

* Shoot date (if known)
* Shoot content (be specific, please)
* Rate of pay of TF*
* Number of hours you'd like to shoot.

This information is important, so please be sure to include all of this.  I will not be able to consider your offer and it will waste everyone's time.  Verbosity is the order of the day and I'd much rather have a ton of details than none at all.

I've enjoyed working with all of these people, at some point in my career.  They're great people, I admire them all greatly and they've earned 5 star coolness ratings with me!  If you're not on these lists, it's because I forgot.  If that bothers you, let me know and I'll remember pretty darn quickly.
