A little history on Candi Apple.....
Candi Apple Couture (official name) has been in the making for a long time. Since the age of five I knew I loved clothing and wanted to be apart of creating looks to make woman feel as beautiful as they are. From an early age I was exposed to pattern making, sewing, fabric store after fabric store...(thanks Aunt Sadie) I began to appreciate the art of the garment I would watch my grandmother toil on the sewing machine for hours to create beautiful master pieces , some of which belong to me. (lol) even at that young age I knew that fashion was my passion.
As adolescence hit, I grew more quickly then the other girls my age, clothing made for my age group did not fit me at all, it was then I began to believe that there was something wrong with me, so I made my own outfits in my mind and eventually started sketching on paper to create the looks I wanted. I was fortunate to have a Seamstress which I worked with, she understood my vision and together we set the trend for what is now called Candi Apple Couture.
