NoRae Photography is the brainchild of President and CEO Jonathan Norris.  Mr. Norris was raised in the Washington DC metro area.  He spent much of his youth travling to diffrent places.  At the age of 5 during a trip to Walt Disney World Jonathan told a family member to capture a picture of him and Mickey Mouse because he wanted this moment to last forever. True love and passion was born. 

Jonathan embarked on a journey of self-education beacause of the lack of photography classes available in his high school.  With little documented photographic experience he started taking freelance pictures, with a high school friend, of local aspiring models.  He is currently attending Howard University with a double concentration in Graphic Design and Photography.  He has won many awards in college for his submissions in photography and graphic arts.  During his sopmore year he made his way back to Walt Disney World, but this time as a photography intern.  Also he interned for the Washington Wizards for their 2008-2009 season as their game photographer. 

At the age of 21 he began photographing some of the most prestigious names in entertainment and fashion industry such as Chris Tucker, Glenn Jackson, Academy Award Nominees Angela Bassett and Taraji P. Henson, Danny Glover, Washington Redskin players Laver Arrington, Fred Smoot, Rick "Doc" Walker and Brian Mitchell, and Big Tigger.  Jonathan also had the pleasure to photograph the 44th president of the United States Barack Obama. 

Jonathan's unique; signature style speaks for itself.  His passion for the art and commerce of photography can easily be felt by simply looking at his pictures.  "When people view my work, I simply want to evoke emotion." -- Jonathan
