Without being rude, that’s somehow egoistic perception of love - wishing to possess the object of love; and in the highest extreme absorb it; depriving it of its own existence.
It’s not love of object, it is love of yourself.
The true love would be willingness to completely submit you to the needs the object to the point of abandoning of “self”.
It’d be unification, but on completely different terms.
So that’s the food, who shows real love to me.
