About Me

New York Based Photographer Matt Gunther's images reflect the more subtle internal energy of his subjects.  He draws out their unresolved emotions and forces then to the surface, where they linger momentarily to be captured by his camera.  Gunther has a talent for capturing the heart of a community.  Whether he is shooting people passing by or intimate celebrity portraits Gunther endeavors to uncover and expose, vulnerability and compassion and the cor of his subjects.
