i am a retired wedding photographer.
i think in images. i dream in stills. i want to get these images out of my head and into my camera! i'm influenced by everyone from Kertesz to Lachapelle. From Lynch to Kurosawa. Gorecki to Goldfrapp. i don't believe i have a style- perhaps in not having one, one exists. when an image comes to me... i cannot truly rest until i can see it in my camera.
i am a professional. above all i believe in you, the model, being comfortable with me. i may ask you to hang upside down or make a crazy face, but if you aren't into it, it shows. i prefer to meet (when possibile) with all my prospective collaborators to make sure we click. as for MUA or stylist or designers... i see my images as being part of the whole, i need you and your expertise to tell the story.
if you've had an idea for a shoot but can't find anyone to shoot it- i'm your woman. unless it involves weird sexual stuff. (i'm not into that at all)
i want to create whimsical, crazy, sexy, dark, ironic, romantic images.
if it's considered "out side of the box" i'm ready.
as for compensation- i'm looking for TF since i'm creating images for the sake of art. hopefully someone somewhere will pay me one day. however, if i can't get your face out my mind for a shoot- and you won't TF- i will pay you.
i use a D200 D300 & 5d mark II. i have more glass and lighting than i care to write. i am a gear head & a mac chick. i currently use CS3 & apperture. i shoot RAW but will not release those to you. i will give you .tiffs or .jpegs or post them to an online gallery- whichever you prefer. high res. of course. i am also willing to include actual prints if agreed upon. (also as a side note- i can/do shoot video and edit Final Cut.)
