I'm a 26 yr-old female photographer in the Pittsburgh area.

A lot of photographers can give you a well defined concept of their style preference.  Though I do hope to achieve that sometime in the future, I am content exploring various styles.  I have a fondness for close up portraits, but that is not the extent of my work.  Most of what I have submitted to MM in my gallery are digital images--Alternative processes and film however are mediums that I am quite fond of working with as well, especially Salt Prints.  As for lighting techniques and equipment, I enjoy strobe lighting,  though there is something to be said for natural light and use of that which is available.  I'm not rich and I enjoy using what I have at my disposal and having fun.  I've learned from many professors, expensive equipment is fine and dandy, but it is not necessary create "quality" images.
