I have been working as a freelance makeup artist since 2008. I was formally trained and certified as a makeup artist in Minneapolis, MN and am a licensed cosmetologist since 2004. I recently moved to California and am excited to announce that I will now be serving the Los Angeles and San Diego areas!

I am looking forward to working on a wide variety of projects. I am able to create a customized, creative look within a reasonable amout of time. As a professional multi-media makeup artist I have plenty of experience in Runway, Print/Editorial, Concerts/Live Performance, Theatre, Film, HDTV, and Commercial/Corporate to name a few. I work on any project where someone will be seen live, captured with still photography or film or any combination of the three.

I greatly enjoy applying tradidional beauty makeup which Is most common in my commercial and film work. I willl also jump at any chance to do anything a bit more wild and avant-garde.
I enjoy the detail and presicion of applying any kind of high fashion makeup some words that come to mind are: punk rock, gothic, surreal, fashion, glamour, time era, bright, "pin up", horror, over the top, nature-inspired, classic, wedding theme, transformations etc. I love collaborating with others to find just the right theme, mood and tone for any project in any setting from beauty makeup to avant-garde.

I use traditional and airbrush techniques and can also do some very realistic special effects.
