As a graduate of the College for Creative Studies, my backround and art education are primarily in the field of design and illustration, but photography has been a growing passion since 2002. My initial interest was in automotive subjects but has since expanded into nature, architecture and particularly shooting people. I like working with strong, dramatic lighting, rich colors and textures and unusual subject matter. No matter who I shoot, I view it as a joint exercise between the subject(s) and I, and enjoy the interaction it takes to get us to a unique final image.
I'm looking to collaborate on projects with other creative people. They can be professional or personal, fine art or commercial. My personality can be rather contradictory and this is often reflected in the diversity of projects I choose and the people I work with. I have an attraction to the offbeat and the outrageous. I love strong lighting, mood, color and texture. At the same time, subtlety and sophistication are themes I would like to pursue. I'm doing primarily TFP/CD at the moment, with select models, but if you need some portfolio images I'd be happy to discuss rates.
Thanks for stopping in...

*Ongoing Projects:
1. Water/wet themes. This could be anywhere from wetlook (Clothed or semi clothed but wet) to artistic nudes or partial nudes. I love translucency, as well as spraying water and other similar effects. I love what water does to thin clothing and how it drapes and sticks to the underlying figure. This could be in a shower or bath, in a pool, in a lake or stream or even on a beach. This is not about messy.
2. The Gold Chair Project: I have this awesome gold vinyl chaise lounge chair. Words do not do it justice. I want to take photos of all kinds of people in it, on it over it, under it or around it. The styles will likely be very different with the chair being the one consistent element in all the shots. A shot of the chair:
3. I have a chainmail outfit, including headdress, on loan from a friend. I'd like to shoot someone in this. Likely with swords or weapons of some sort. The outfit doesn't cover much.
4. I have an idea about using weathered metal parts and sheet stock cut into interesting shapes and attached/draped to the nude form. Dramatic lighting would be used to accentuate both the feminine curves and the properties of the metal shapes.
5. I own three kimonos. I'd like to shoot tasteful erotic images with them. All are for fairly small women, probably no taller then 5'2" - 5'4" and petite in build.
All are on a TF basis.
*Message me if interested.
