I am a Professional Photographer with a studio in Austin, Texas but I also travel the country on a regular basis due to my Full-Time job as a Professional Driver. I travel with a complete portable studio and some limited wardrobe in case it is needed for a shoot. My travels are mainly between Texas and the Midwest and Southeast/Southwest with occasional trips to the Northeast and West Coast and VERY rare trips to the PacWest area. I am always open to working with models from beginners to Professional to capture your own ideas as well as mine. I am also willing to assist new models, that will help my port, in developing a portfolio at no cost and other new models at a very low cost. See my web site for additional details. I, along with my studio partner, also host occasional Model Portfolio Development Shoots at our studio in Austin, Tx. If you are interested in participating, let me know. I have also just started a publishing company. We have just put our first book into post-production and have started shooting content for the next few books. This is a series of books scheduled over a long period of time and a wide variety of content of which 95% will be non-nude. If interested in being a part of one of these projects go to the book series web site at:
http://www.ModelZBooks.com for more information and to apply, click on the ApplicationZ button and fill out the appropriate application for you.
Now then, for a reality check for some. Unless you have your OWN studio, or have access to a studio we can use, if we are shooting outside of my local area we "may" have to use a hotel/motel room to set up as a studio. I put this disclaimer on here because I have seen too many models who say they will not shoot in a motel room. For the GWC's who email you I can understand that but, I am a professional photographer who has been shooting since 1983 and working with models since 1998. Now then, that said, I also have NO PROBLEM setting up my portable studio at a location of your choosing as long as my equipment is protected as well. Granted, I prefer to shoot outdoors as much as possible but, I carry the studio equipment in case of bad weather or in case of more "discreet" types of shoots.
