I am a Professional Photographer with studio access in Austin, Texas but I also travel the country on a regular basis due to my other company I own. I travel with a complete portable studio and some limited wardrobe in case it is needed, with advance notice, for a shoot. My travels are mainly between Texas and the Midwest and Southeast/Southwest with occasional trips to the Northeast and West Coast and VERY rare trips to the PacWest area. Now then, for a reality check for some. Unless you have your OWN studio, or have access to a studio we can use, if we are shooting outside of my local area we "may" have to use a hotel/motel room to set up as a studio. I put this disclaimer on here because I have seen too many models who say they will not shoot in a motel room. For the GWC's who email you I can understand that but, I am a professional photographer who has been shooting since 1983 and working with models since 1998. Now then, that said, I also have NO PROBLEM setting up my portable studio at a location of your choosing as long as my equipment is protected as well. Granted, I prefer to shoot outdoors as much as possible but, I carry the studio equipment in case of bad weather or in case of more "discreet" types of shoots.
UPDATE: I am currently looking to do some more "artsy" type work. For this I am looking for the type of model who not only considers herself a model but, an artist as well. This type of girl can be blindfolded, placed in any location (indoors or out) and then have the blindfold removed. All she sees to work with is a pile of various clothing, rags and mis-matched accessories. She can then take 10 minutes and come up with an outfit that is not only sexy but, can provide a WOW factor to the shot.
I am also hoping to discover some MUA's who can take any woman's cheap discount store make up and turn a pretty girl into a drop dead beautiful one!
Wardrobe stylists see above what I said for the models, if you can help the model who has a concept, but not a clue on how to get there, shoot me a line as well.
