Modeling is just another medium I like to work with, I am an intermedia artist who specializes in stencils/lighting, installation/sculpture, video editing/projections, and set design. I also dabble in photography, writing, and noise-making. I enjoy performing and combine dance, yoga, hula hooping, paint, gore and all-of-the-above. In saying this I am very selective on who I work with, choosing imaginative people who share the same vision to weave a complex and profound tale.
I have a different look than most, over the years I have found myself blending into various counter cultures like a chameleon. My hair is half shaved off, and I have some scarification on my body, stretched earlobes at 4guage, and a smiley piercing.
The kind of shoots or concepts I am currently interested in are: androgyny, post-apocalyptic, surreal, fetish, whimsical, futuristic, macabre, and high fashion. I love working one on one with fashion designers, especially those who do gowns and leather. I'd also like to incorporate my art in some shoots.
If these kind of concepts interest you please contact me with any ideas you would like to add, if you know a cool location, or other talented people to work with.
Currently I live in Winnipeg but I am more than happy to travel with all expenses paid. I wander around Canada fairly often; Montreal every May, and to the west during the summer (Alberta, Saskatchewan) for work. I have a passport and am willing to go anywhere for paid work.
I have a dark sense of humor, am attracted to unusual things, into strange music, and I'm just a wee bit crazy, but in the good kind of way. If I haven't scared you off yet I will do anything and everything to get the shot. I'm into experimenting with different expressions and poses but can take direction too.
It's worth mentioning that I am a trained makeup artist, and I'm not bad at hair either. I have a large and tasteful varied wardrobe, but it's all black for the most part.
I was once represented by Panache Agency but realized they are a huge scam so I started to freelance with success. I had been introduced to modeling at the age of 14 by my long-time friend Lee who is a fashion designer, and started modeling on a professional level at the age of 17. In saying this I have years of valuable experience and can work it as well as any agency model. I have shot in pretty much every genre including film and promotional work.
I am in the motions of starting my own business for this fall; opening a gallery and studio space, and prototyping and marketing some of my illuminated geometric sculptures. Currently I do modeling for my living but will soon be again focusing more on selling my art.
Anyways, thanks for coming to my page and checking me out!
I should really update this. One of these days when I have the time!
