I have worked with several models and photographers from Model Mayhem and enjoy the time developing my portfolio, as well as theirs.
MODELS:
**Please note: I work on a T.F.P. or T.F.P./CD basis and offer limited and edited images of your shoot usually within 2 weeks after our shoot. I usually allow 2 hrs for shoots. I am willing to cover Some travel expenses for models traveling from outside of the West Michigan area.
*** IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 YOU MUST HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WITH YOU... NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!
A couple simple rules:
1). Escorts: I prefer none, but I am ok with one (1) and actually support the idea of models that have never worked with a particular photographer before to have one. All escorts will need to know: Sit down, be quiet and do not interfere with the shoot.
2) Scheduled shoots are time set aside for you. PLEASE give me at least 24 hours notice if unable to attend a scheduled shoot.
ANY questions, please do not hesitate to ask. (If you have questions about charges, PLEASE ASK!)
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH ME, READ BELOW:
1) I require that anyone that I work with signs a release prior to shooting. If you'd like a copy of this release before we shoot, I will be more than happy to provide you with a copy. The release is a standard copyright release that protects me and gives me full rights to the photos. The model has rights to promotional usage.
2) Image CD day of shoot: As a Photographer, I will not release my work in RAW form or jpg form until I have done the post work. It just isn't going to happen. So don't ask or even worse, demand, a CD of your images the day of our shoot. You did not get photos the day of your shoot in the days of film...This is no different.
3) If you'd like to do a photo shoot, where the copyrights to the photos are owned under your own name, and not mine, it is $200 for the shoot. You will receive a cd with full resolution photos with no editing done whatsoever. After this cd is burned, I delete the file, and it is not available again. If requested, I can keep a copy for future copies of the cd to be made, which is an additional $50 charge if a 2nd cd is needed.

SECURING STYLISTS AND M.U.A.S.
It tends to work better when the model secures these people. They can have a better flow talking things through so when the shoot comes, you are not getting to know each other. I recommend posting a casting for stylists and M.U.A.S. when you want to shoot with WEST MICHIGAN PHOTOGRAPHY.
