I am a freelance photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. My areas of specialization include sports and travel photography. I have begun to seriously venture into the realm of portraiture, with an acute focus on environmental portraits.
I finally decided to join this community after not being able to respond positively to the question, "Are you on Model Mayhem?". I'm more than happy to receive friend requests from those I have worked with in the past.
*** About the Name ***
I established "Form of Beauty Photography" to segment my photographic body of work. I am a prolific shooter and I like to capture the moment wherever I go. I will continue to share editorial photos on my personal website. Form of Beauty will be used to market images available for commercial licensing.
In case you're wondering, the expression "Form of Beauty" was coined by Plato. According to the Theory of Forms, our perception of the world is based on abstract ideals. These ideals (or forms) are intangible and eternal. For example, the reason we think someone is beautiful is because they embody the Form of Beauty. Since my goal is to capture the ephemeral nature of beauty, I thought Form of Beauty would be an appropriate name.
