Flor De Fenix

Flor De Fenix was born of Peruvian and African American heritage, grew up in Yonkers NY where her diverse culture contributed to her seeking an outlet to explore who she was through her creativity and modeling.

She has worked for designers such as Baby Phat, Johnny Girl and Downtown Pat Brown. She has walked the Runway in some of the hottest venues in NYC during fashion week, including the world reknown Hammerstein Ballroom. Never ceasing to sieze an opportunity, she worked as a promo model for MTV, Cingular Wireless, Power 105.1. and the TRUTH anti- tobacco campaign; as well as co-hosting an internet radio show, The Big Apple Meets Tinsletown.  She was also chosen to host various SONY record release parties for American Idol winner Rubeun Studdard, Wyclef, Mary J. Blige, DJ Kay Slay and DMX. She was also a NYC Rock N Doll, hosted various rock events for bands and worked promotions.  She eventually returned to acting with a featured role on NBC's 30 Rock with Tina Fey and a film debut in the independent film, Manhattanites on SOAPNET.

Flor's style is being herself and being comfortable in her own body. She doesn't look to trends to make her who she is..she sets them. Although she has many talents; music, writing, dancing, singing..she really looks forward to using all of them to aide in developing her modeling career further and hope that Model Mayhem would give her the opportunity to return to the scene and concentrate on solely modeling here.
