Hi, I'm Derek. I'm a freelance professional and full-time student looking to network with models, stylists, and other people who are generally awesome and inspiring.

My work typically involves creating light instead of finding it. I have a background in filmmaking and my shoots tend to operate like film sets, very ambitious and organized. Lots of lights, lots of action, and lots of energy.

I don't take myself too seriously. It's just photography, after all. I'm totally cool with escorts!! Bring your friends, it'll be a party!

	I have a strange idea, I have thought often of doing a shoot as a vagabond (tramp) in dirty areas, begging and things who dresses very richly. So they are almost refusing to believe they are homeless. I would wanna wear a ball gown and fingerless gloves and maybe have a pet with me and things like that. Contrasts in costume and location and also something strange and eye catching. However if thats too strange i'll let you suggest something ;)

	There will be a Supershoot on Sat April, 04 from 10a-5p. There will be 25 models to choose from and 8 different areas in the studio. You are guaranteed five models maybe more depending on how quickly everyone is able to work. Models and sets will be mutually agreed upon prior to the event. (We will have a meeting w/all photographers and possibly the MUA's). The cost would be $100 for each photographer (5 max) to help cover studio and MUA fees. The studio will be rented from 9a-6p. I would like to use one of the hours for networking amongst the models, MUA's, and photographers as well as a much needed break for everyone. So, please bring business cards. Please email me @ quianaebony@gmail.com for photos of the studio and or details. There is a stainless steel kitchen, white screen, black screen, dining table, western setting, conference room and more. Light refreshments will be available at no additional charge.
