About me
I'm Karin Hallen. I landed in L.A. some 10 years ago, from Sweden via New York and Tokyo.
In 2008 I was a top 10 finalist on the American hit TV show "She's Got the Look" - TV lands answer to "America's Nest Top Model" for women 35 and over.
I was in every episode and came in 1st runner up out from a pool of 25,000 contestants. It was soooo much fun and I met some amazing people. I probably had the best reality show experience in the history of reality shows. That's how I got into modeling. A bit unconventional to start at my age, but hey it's never too late to discover what you love and are good at. And I've been fortunate to work with many great and inspiring people since.
So, I am a model, an actress, a writer and I played bass in the Hollywood rock band ROTOR, with over 1 million plays on MySpace.

In 2011 I moved back home to Malmö, Sweden to be closer to my family and I plan on spending at least 6-8 months a year here. So, now I am looking to connect with photographers, designers and any creative, talented people to collaborate with here.
