My name is Meagan, I'm 22, and I'm new to the DC Metro area. I live there with my fiance and I'm itching to get to know some new people and get back to working on my photography!
I've been taking pictures since high school and I know how to develop and print black and white film. I worked for Sears Portrait Studio for two years and so I have experience with your typical portrait posing. I like doing fashion photography and would like to start experimenting with fetish/pin up with the right models. Some of my idols right now include Lithium Picnic, Apnea, Visioluxus, and Larafairie, all of which are on DeviantART. You can see more of my work in my gallery...

For my safety and to assist with lighting, props, or simply to be a muse, my fiance does accompany me to most photoshoots. I like to meet with my models before a shoot so its not quite so awkward, so please be forewarned that I will not be alone. Along the same lines, feel free to bring someone with you as well. I'm more than happy to explain how I work to anyone, and willing to answer any questions, so please just email me and I'll get back to you asap.

Do you charge?
..... If you contact me about a shoot you want to do, then yes. I'm extremely fair though and it would in most cases fall around or under $100. I'm willing to negotiate and cater to your needs if I can.
..... If I contact you, certainly not. At this time I shoot mostly TF as I do not get paid for shoots in most cases. If I sell prints or get paid somehow, I am more than willing to share, however.
Do you shoot men?
..... Yes! However I am only accepting paid work unless otherwise specified.
Do you shoot in digital or film?
..... I am able to use both digital and film, though the digital camera I use is a friend's and not always available.
Are you looking for a MUA, Hairstylist, or Costumer?
..... Sure! I'm dying to put a team together, but as I've mentioned before, I cannot pay anyone unless I sell some prints. More than happy to trade though
Do I need to have my own wardrobe?
..... In almost all cases, yes. Sometimes I have pieces here and there that I can contribute, but its more in the form of jewelry or accessories.
What do you look for in a model?
..... Personality is most important to me. I tend to like more high fashion looks, but I need models of all kinds. As long as you're comfortable in front of a camera and can have fun! I'm also a huge fan of movement in my work... I like a model who can create unique and interesting poses and facial expressions.
Do I (the model) own the copyrights to my images?
..... You can pay for the copyrights to your images and do whatever you want with them at that point, otherwise they are copyrighted to me. That does not mean I'm some cold hearted b*tch that wont let you do anything with your pictures. You can post them up wherever you like as long as you credit me as the photographer and feel free to put them in your portfolio. But you may not sell prints without my permission and some percentage or one time fee will be charged. I'm extremely reasonable and can negotiate terms, just ask!

You were such a lovely strong woman, open, caring, and vibrant. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly. My one regret was not being able to shoot with her again. At least now her body is at peace and will have no more pain.
