About me

Shooter in Hawaii since graduating from college back in 1993. I shoot a lot of commercial phtography (catalogs, etc.) , a lot of watersports (I have a full quivver of water gear, housings, etc.) and more recently concerts (Three 6 Mafia, Wondergirls, Sum 41, NOFX, 3 Doors Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects, Hilary Duff etc.). Basically, a hired gun. You pay, I pull the trigger.

Dedicated to the Canon system. Current cameras are the EOS 3 for film (with another new one on the way, to replace the one that died an untimely death - I never like to have just one camera body) and now a pair of EOS 5D's one mk1 and one mk2. Loaded for bear on Canon lenses from the 15mm fish to the 600mm f4 supertele.

Total gearhead. Always trying to get new gear. As a sports shooter, I get to change gear a lot, just because gear gets broken - A LOT .

Will travel for work. I hit SF, LA, Vegas, NY and Miami on a fairly regular basis.

Eh, on list as editorial shooter for several publishers, World Publications (Windsurfing Magazine, Kiteboarding Magazine, etc.), SBC Media (Windsport Magazine, Kite Magazine), Planchemag, Windsurf Italia, Conde Nast (Traveller and Architectural Digest) and Frommer's Budget Travel lately a lot of work with tattoo and bod mod magazines. I used to own a tattoo shop, long story, nevermind.

I am a contribution photographer for whomever is paying me this week. Deal mostly with writers for that stuff. Sometimes stock work, it just depends.

Took down my super low tech personal page. I don't advertise. Don't need to. Don't want to. Have enough work as it is. But if you want to add me on Facebook, I am friggin chronic on those damn flash games ... it's a problem.

And as a PS, I play the character Bkhim on the Oceanic PVP server Thaurissan - arcane mage - with the guild Hawaiians. Warcraft is my time suck.
