Cyrano

My name is Douglas Cyrano Byrd. Born and raised in Miami, FL. I currently reside in Atlanta, GA. Since I was younger, ive always been interested in modeling. Now I am in the pursuit of that dream.

When I was younger, I would take pics of myself with cameras using self timers, or mirrors. This was due the lack of confidence I had in other photographers to capture any good pictures of me. I later on developed a facsination for photography which would become one of my major studies in college. While in my first year of college, I modeled with a modeling troupe on campus called Elite Modeling Troupe @ FSU. Upon my return to school I joined my current associated troupe known as Images Modeling Troupe. Both troupes would organize and put together a major runway show each semester, along with several other shows and phot shoots. I myself have participated in all of the above, and as photographer for a few photoshoots. My hunger for becoming more established has brought me to Atlanta, GA, where I await to have pictures taken, so I can "shop" for a modeling agency or representation. All of my snap shots are taken by myself, and are definitely temperary until I get new pics as soon as a month from the creation of this profile. I look forward to expanding the showcase of my talent as a model.

I want to step up and challenge the height concious runway world as well, and prove that you dont have to be 6 feet or taller to stride nicely, or do the runway justice. I believe my features that stand out the most are my eyes, facial structure, awaremess and manipulation of my face in front of the camera, ability to "act" on still print, and my lips! *smile*

I hope to gain exposure, receive advice, and build relations with people who share the same common interest in modeling.  I hope to build a career in fashion photography, and possibly runway depending on my success.

I have limited photos available right now, but hope to have some more soon. But look out for the name Cyrano, I will work hard to have the name be known, *smiles*! God Bless~
