Mayhem # 95949
I am Addie and I am fabulous! Nah, ha ha. I am first and foremost a poet and a model by chance/choice. I believe art is an emotion. I do not believe that I am a "model". That term is so pretentious it makes me sick. It implies a level of stillness that surely sells but does not encapsulate me. I aim to represent movement and life and find my most well-received pictures are exactly commented on for that reason. I am solely interested in working with photographers that want to experience life and take image s that have never been taken before. I want to capture my photographers as much if not more than they capture me. I love to make new and sexually-charged, emotional, intimate portrayals of what my life is about, without judgement.
I have worked for many, many photographers and companies, not the least of which is: Heatherette, Inc., Dollhouse Vintage (Miss December 2005), the award winning John Carman, runway for Elan Fashion Week 2005, Eric Eichenberg for EI Cinema, Chemise Fashion Shows, anxietyfilms.com, Perfect Ten, and FOX TV's "Paradise Hotel". I could go on about how many photogs but let's not do that!
please inquire to firstname.lastname@example.org for my complete and updated resume! thank you so much.
I have to thank John Carman for literally putting me on the map. John is a genius. And the best thing about working with him is that you get to spend time with him. He is truly gifted, patient beyond words, and a force to be reckoned with. I love him dearly for obliging my every whim, from the beginning. It has made all the difference, and I continue to learn so much from him, not just about photography but about what it means to capture life.
I gladly thank Jason "McMadcow" Andrescavage for also being completely open and willing to my wildest whims, and meeting me more than halfway. Jason is one to watch. His portraiture is sincerely one of a kind, and his quiet passion for what he does grows more every day. Jason is larger than life in the most unusual way. This guy has so much hidden drive (even from himself!) it is ridiculous, and I am honored to be a part of that. Plus, he makes some mean popcorn and whether he'd admit it or not, has a devotion and true relationship to black and white photography that is unprecedented. Spontaneous more than he knows, Jason is true talent and a class act.
I must thank the joyful, fabulous Frank Leonard for believing in me, and appreciating me, as cliche as it sounds, but that's "what we do". Frank is a goldmine because he has always been here in his spiritual photographic life for the right reasons. Anyone who knows him will attest that the gratitude and respect that he gives towards his "models" (friends!) is rare beyond belief. Frank has made my experience in this world raw, inspired, and limitless. I cannot express the respect i have for him.
Alex N. Storm, it is your page that inspired me to change mine. Alex defies any category, as he is truly an intense visionary in the very definition of the word. At the same time he is the most relaxing person to be around; a dichotomy that continues to astound me. I believe his photographic process is not one that can or should be put into words, and I am very aware of how lucky I am to know and work with him. I have learned a lot about myself in a short time from Alex, and I feel very, very lucky to count him as such a great friend.
I am thrilled to thank my father for handing me an Olympus when I was ten, as everything has come from that. I cannot express how much he continues to inspire me. He is a legend in that he has never once thought about money, fame, status, networking, or anything other than the timing in capturing his family and loved ones in the moment.
